摘要
This paper studied the quantity and distribution of soil selenium by means of geo-statistics in Jianshi, central Hubei Province in China. A standard plot was set up and 289 soil samples were collected at the crossing points of the grid at two depth ranges of 0-20 and 40-60 cm. The total and available selenium in the soils were measured. Results indicated that the soil of 40-60 cm deep had a maximum spatial heterogeneity but a low fractal dimension of available selenium; the selenium at the two layers had a marked variation in different directions, having similar characteristic parameters of variation functions; human activities have significant impacts on the spatial structure of selenium.
