Approximate BLUEs of the parameters of the half logistic distribution based on fairly large doubly censored samples

This paper presents an approximate best linear unbiased estimators (BLUEs) of the scale and the location parameters of the half logistic distribution based on a selected few order statistics (k) for fairly large doubly censored samples. It tabulates the ranks, coefficients, variances and relative efficiencies of the BLUEs and approximate BLUEs of the parameters based on a selected few order statistics (k) for samples size of N = 10(1)40 and k = 2(1)4. The variances of these estimators are then compared with that of the approximate maximum likelihood estimators.
