摘要
This paper describes a simple two dimensional model for a numerical simulation. The model consists from a human body, a seat and a seat belt. The model is made for the estimation of the neck stress and the head acceleration caused by a collision of a ship. The effect of the elasticity of both a human body and a seat cushion is considered to reduce head acceleration value, which is caused by the contact between a human body and a seat. This effect is taken into consideration for this model. Based on this model, a seat condition which gives less trouble to passengers is considered.
