摘要
The impact of exogenous application of different concentrations of salicylic acid (10, 50 and 100 mu M) through the rooting medium on the plant growth, the pigment content and the photochemical activities of both photosystem I and photosystem II was investigated. Data revealed that the observed alterations strongly depend on the concentration of applied salicylic acid, as 10 mu M is the optimal concentration for the growth and the functional activity of photosynthetic apparatus of rice plants under non-stress conditions. In addition, the concentrations of salicylic acid lower than 100 mu M had no effect on the energy transfer between the chlorophyll-protein complexes in thylakoid membranes.
