Three-dimensional angular distribution of harmonics radiated by an atom interacting with a short high-frequency super-intense laser pulse

摘要
Radiation patterns of a three-dimensional hydrogen atom interacting with a high-frequency super-intense laser field are presented. The laser-atom interaction is modelled without the dipole approximation, i.e. taking into account the magnetic-field component of the laser. Both linearly and circularly polarized laser fields are considered. The structure of the radiation patterns is analysed. Among the results the appearance of even harmonics with very high relative intensity, due to the magnetic field, in the case of the linearly polarized field is particularly relevant.
