Experimental study of single and double electron transfer processes in slow Ne8++H-2 collisions using photon spectroscopy

摘要
We have performed high resolution EUV spectroscopy on the Ne8+ + H-2 system at 80keV impact energy. New transitions have been identified. The analysis is supported by extensive theoretical calculations. A detailed picture of the decay path of the doubly excited Ne6+ states populated in double electron transfer processes is of importance for the basic understanding of the collision dynamics and for charge exchange based diagnostic techniques in fusion experiments.
