摘要：

In this paper, an integrated and responsive e-learning platform is presented, in order to meet the need of continuing education of sailors. The platform, which is named Online Maritime Training (OMT), is based on Content Management System (CMS) and modern e-learning methods and features. Online Maritime Training covers both synchronous and asynchronous ways of education, using several Web 2.0 tools and Wordpress features, in purpose of improving the learner's experience and delivering high level educational content for ashore and onboard seamen.
