摘要
Atmospheric non-thermal plasma has been recognized as an important tool for abatement of pollutants and for promoting various chemical reactions in gas or in liquid. Indoor air cleaners have been mass-produced, and proved to be effective for removal of odor and allergen. To improve efficiency of plasma chemical processes, combination of non-thermal plasma and catalysts/absorbents is effective. Synergetic effects have been recognized, however, its mechanism has been remaining as an interesting surface chemistry to be solved. Several examples of industrial application are introduced.
