摘要
The title compound, C(7)H(6)N(4)S, was synthesized by reacting pyridine-3-carboxylic acid and thiosemicarbazide. The dihedral angle between the planes of the thiadiazole and pyridine rings is 32.42 (14)degrees. In the crystal structure, intermolecular N-H center dot center dot center dot N interactions link the molecules into a three-dimensional network, forming R(2)(2)(8) ring motifs. pi-pi contacts between thiadiazole rings [centroid-centroid distance = 3.666 (1) angstrom] may further stabilize the structure.
