摘要
A novel high quality (Q)-factor integrated inductor using bondwires is fabricated on a semi-insulating GaAs substrate for high performance GaAs monolithic microwave integrated circuits (MMIC). The solenoidal inductor of vertical bondwires shows significant improvements of the Q-factor (38-63) and the resonant frequency (9.4-17 GHz) by virtues of the very low series resistance and parasitic capacitance.
