摘要
The paper proposes updated approaches for Level I and II analyses of seismic slope stability, suitable for microzonation maps. The Level I procedure is based on multi-variate empirical correlations of synthetic variables representing local seismicity, topography and geology. It was calibrated on a benchmark past earthquake and then used to predict the current degree of susceptibility throughout the whole Campania Region. Thereafter, a well-characterized test area was used to apply Level II analysis, based on the prediction of seismic displacements of an infinite slope, with deterministic and probabilistic seismic hazard analyses. The latter results were compared with the Level I susceptibility index values, showing some correlation between these latter and the predicted displacements.
