The objective of this study is to analyze the psychosocial risk factors of the administrative staff of an Institution of Higher Education, whose sample was taken at a public university in the province of Manabi, in Ecuador. To do this, the Ministry of Labor's psychosocial risk assessment questionnaire was applied, which groups psychosocial risk factors that can affect the health of workers and / or servers into eight dimensions. The results obtained showed that it is necessary to prevent and act on aspects related to workplace harassment, scope of action and control of employees, and working conditions, dimensions that obtained a medium and high risk result. For this, transformational leadership is left as an alternative approach to overcome the detected psychosocial risks. We consider that this study contributes to the analysis of the management of human talent in a university, to improve its working conditions in one of the often invisible sectors of higher education: administrative staff.
