Hydrothermal Synthesis and Crystal Structure of Novel Mn(II) Coordination Polymer Based on 4,4′-Bis(imidazolyl)biphenyl and Trimesic Acid

摘要
In this paper, a new Mn(II) coordination polymer with 4,4'-bis(imidazolyl)biphenyl (bib) and trimesic acid (H(3)bct) has been has been prepared by hydrothermal synthesis and-Characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction, IR and EA. Complex, [Mn(Hbta)(bib)](n) (1), is monoclinic; space group P2(1)/c with a = 9.380 (5), b = 10.226 (5), c = 12.590 (5) angstrom, beta = 86.079 (5)degrees, V = 1169.3 (10) angstrom(3), Z = 2, M-r = 549.39, De = 1.560 g/cm(3) and F(000) = 562. The final refinement gave R = 0.0333 and wR = 0.0875 for 4708 reflections with I > 2 sigma(I). X-ray diffraction analysis reveals that the complex 1 displays a two-dimensional layer structure.
