摘要
FTIR, refractive index and Impedance spectroscopy techniques are employed on xNa(2)O-(30-x)Li2O-40B(2)-O(3)30GeO(2) glasses where x ranged between 0 and 30 mol% have been investigated [1]. Indices of refraction in the present glasses are determined by using Abbe Refractometer and observed to be remaining constant at 1.494. The data for AC conductivity of the present glasses in the frequency range from 100 Hz to 5 MHz are analyzed using Cole-Cole type impedance response function. In low lithium containing glasses the impedance spectra shows a single semi-circle whereas, at high temperatures the impedance spectra shows two joined and depressed semicircles, in high lithium glasses. The structural properties have been determined employing FTIR spectroscopy. The findings were discussed on the basis of band assignments present in the glasses [1-2].
