摘要：

In Japan, incineration residues of solid wastes, residue of industrial wastes, sludge, and other materials are disposed of in both land and marine controlled disposal facilities. More than 80% of the solid waste residue generated in Tokyo Prefecture is disposed of at marine waste disposal facilities. Technical Guideline for Final Disposal Facilities for Solid and Industrial Waste was amended in June 1998. Especially, standards for the structure and maintenance of liners were strengthened and specified clearly. In the light of these circumstances, technical guidelines for the design, construction, and management of revetments at marine waste disposal facilities were formulated.
