摘要
In the present paper we analyze a model of the hypothalamus-pituitary-adrenal axis. Since there is a spatial separation between the brain, where the hypothalamus and pituitary are situated, and the kidney, where the adrenal glands are situated, time is needed for transportation of the hormones between the glands. Thus, the time delay is considered. The model, described by a nonlinear differential system with time delay, is analyzed regarding the stability behavior. The numerical simulations illustrate the effectiveness of our results.
