摘要
The physical optics approximation is widely used for electromagnetic scattering analysis due to the fast calculation of the fields. In this work, the scattering from impedance surfaces is analyzed in the time domain using the physical optics approximation. The resulting time dependent radiation integrals are determined in closed-form. A numerical example that demonstrates the accuracy and validity of the scheme is presented.
