摘要
The performance of narrow-band SFAP is studied when the time domain samples are multiplied by a window function. It is shown that when the interference scenario consists of narrow-band as well as wide-band sources, windowing the time domain samples leads to improved performance. In the. case, of digital receivers processing spread-spectrum signals, one may be able to acquire and track the desired signal(s) in severe interference scenarios leading to more robust performance. It is also demonstrated that one needs to carry out some sample overlapping in SFAP to achieve the optimum performance. However, 20% to 25% sample overlapping is sufficient. This is a lot less than the present practice.
