摘要
An evaluation of individual region is a important prerequisite for a formulation of strategic documents, development priorities and specific measures. The evaluation should be based on a set of indicators. The main aim of the paper is to present results of the evaluation of selected micro-region of Mezihori. The evaluation of all 13 municipalities is based on an application of selected indicators from a social, economic and environmental pillar and their interpretation. The methodology uses data sets provided by Czech Statistic Office, data portals of The Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs, The Ministry of Finance and strategic documents and other evidences of individual municipalities and micro-region of Mezihori. There are 4 selected indicators of economic pillar, 5 indicators of social and 5 indicators of environmental pillar. Certain weaknesses were found out in the environmental pillar in the microregion. Individual priorities and specific measures for the future development of the evaluated microregion are aimed in the support for entrepreneurs and farmers, strengthening of economic activity, tourism promotion, landscape management, environmental education, improving the quality of life, development of social activities and employment.
