摘要
We present results from an analogue Radial Basis Function chip which is based upon a compact Euclidean distance calculating circuit. Floating-gate devices are used to program the circuit, and also to compensate for inter-device threshold variations. Chip measurements confirm the functionality of the circuits. Simulations suggest that a large-scale implementation of an RBF system using this architecture would consume only a fraction of the power of comparable digital implementations.
