摘要
The ultrasonic degradation of polyacrylamide and poly(ethylene oxide) in solution was studied at different temperatures. The molecular weight distribution was determined by gel permeation chromatography. Continuous distribution kinetics were used to determine the degradation rate coefficients. The degradation rate coefficient decreased with increasing temperature and was attributed to higher vapour pressure and lower viscosity at higher temperatures. (C) 2004 Elsevier Ltd.
