A Decoupling Method for E-Plane Coupled Millimeter-Wave MIMO Dielectric Resonator Antennas

摘要
An effective method for suppressing mutual couplings between two E-plane coupled millimeter-wave dielectric resonator antenna (DRA) elements is investigated. The simulated results show that by printing multiple metal strips on the two adjacent surfaces appropriately, the lowest isolation over 50 dB was achieved. The MIMO DRA is designed at the frequency band of 24.75 - 27.5 GHz to demonstrate the proposed decoupling method.
