摘要
Cylindrical GaAs/AlGaAs quantum wells containing two-dimensional electron gas (2DEG) have been fabricated. To prepare the quantum wells and contact pads for them, the directional rolling of strained heterofilms into tubes was used. For the first time, magnetotransport properties of 2DEG on a cylindrical surface with a radius of curvature of 4 mum have been experimentally studied. The difference between the magnetoresistances of planar and rolled quantum wells have been examined and explained. (C) 2004 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
