Let B be a Galois extension of B-G with Galois group G such that B-G is a separable C-G -algebra where C is the center of B,J(g) = {b is an element of B vertical bar bx=g(x)b for each x is an element of B}for g is an element of G, alpha :H -> B-H the Galois map for a subgroup H of G, beta : H -> alpha(H)C, and gamma : H -> V-B (alpha(H)) where V-B(alpha(H)) is the commutator subring of alpha(H) in B. Relations between alpha, beta, and gamma are obtained, and several conditions are given for a one-to-one Galois map alpha.
