摘要
Photoelectrochemical investigations of C-60-glycine ester derivative C-60(C6H9NO4) monolayer-modified SnO2 electrodes have been carried out. The electrodes were fabricated by the Langmuir-Blodgett (LB) technique. The photocurrent was determined under an atmosphere of high-purity nitrogen since oxygen suppresses the photocurrent. Results show that electrons Bow from the electrolyte through the LB film to the SnO2 electrode. Positive bias voltage and the presence of an electron donor are beneficial factors for generating higher photocurrent. The external quantum yield is ca. 2.5%.
