摘要：
The present paper seeks to understand the polyrhythmic phenomenon at different musical contexts. For this, they were organized in the form of a glossary different concepts, terms and definitions related to polyrhythm. To better illustrate its use, musical examples were selected, from publications and transcripts, showing the use of polyrhythmic concepts and its developments. The paper brings as contribution the gathering of terms and definitions serving as tools to reveal other forms of musical analysis, related to polyrhythm, illustrated on the selected musical examples.
