Methods in Analysis Vibration and Noise of the Disc Brake

The problem NVH (Noise Vibration Harshness) is one of the important areas of application in the automotive industry. Studies about NVH of car are including the engine, driveline, tire contact patch and road surface, brakes, and wind, etc. This paper only considers disc brake as an object for studying. Purpose of paper is to review some methods for analysis vibration and noise of disc brake also these advantage and disadvantage methods. Then apply numerical method to solve these problems. The study also presents result of stress, contact pressure and natural frequencies of disc brake. Beside, the paper will be recommended for choosing analysis methods.
