摘要
In order to develop new Ni-free biomedical shape memory alloys to replace Ti-Ni alloys, mechanical and shape memory properties of Ti-Mo-Ge ternary alloys were investigated. These alloys were prepared by Ar are melting method using high purity elemental Ti, Mo and Ge. The ingots were homogenized at 1373 K for 86.4 ks in Ar, and then they were cold-rolled at room temperature by 95% reduction followed by a solution treatment. EPMA and XRD analysis were performed for alloy characterization. Mechanical and shape memory properties were evaluated through bending tests and tensile tests at room temperature and constant stress tests during thermal cycles. Effect of pre-deformation on tensile behavior was also investigated.
