摘要:
Prevalence of allergic diseases has been increasing due to multiple factors, among which climate change has had the most impact. Climate factors increase production of pollen, which also exhibits increased allergenicity. Also, as a result of climate change, there has been a shift in flowering phenology and pollen initiation causing prolonged pollen exposure. Various numerical models have been developed to understand the effect of climate change on pollen emission and transport and the impact on allergic airway diseases. © 2020 Elsevier Inc.
