FT-IR spectroscopy: An advanced tool for studying biomedical problems

摘要：
The authors describe several application of FT-IR spectroscopy in the biomedical sciences, including characterzation of healthy and neoplastic human skin samples affected by two kinds of cancers, and examination of liver damage and regeneration caused by carbon tetrachloride, a common environmental containment. Results are compared with the morphological analysis by optical microscopy.
