摘要
Quantifying the rotation of the central forming-star in protostars is still an observational challenge. Near-IR spectroscopic surveys of yaung stellar objects showed that photospheric absorption features are typically absent in Class I sources, veiled by a continuum emission from circumstellar material, preventing us to conduct studies of the rotation of the central forming-star by this way. The detection of X-ray emission from Class I sources has opened a new observational window on protostars. I will review recent studies of X-ray flares from Class I sources which could shed light an the rotation of protostars.
