摘要
This paper investigates the scour hole depth and erosin-stopping velocity considering the effects of different spoiler lengths and gaps between the pipeline and the seabed under the condition of unidirectional current. By using the mechanical equilibrium analysis, the formula of erosin-stopping velocity on the surface of scour hole is derived. Besides, the formulas of scour hole depth are obtained according to the continuity condition of current below the separation point on the submarine pipeline. Compared with test values the calculation formulas can reflect the variation rule of scour hole depth.
