摘要
A high-resolution optical vector network analyzer (OVNA) based on integrated silicon-on-insulator multi-micro ring coupled-resonator optical waveguides (CROWs) is proposed and experimentally demonstrated. The key functionality of the CROW filter is to perform wideband optical single sideband suppression for the implementation of an OVNA, which has been experimentally verified. The magnitude and phase response measurements of the stimulated Brillouin scattering in a single-mode fibre and a highly nonlinear fibre are successfully demonstrated. A high measurement resolution of 23.4 kHz is achieved.
