A new questionnaire to assess procrastination in physical-sports activity: PAFD

摘要
The aim of this study was to develop a scale of Procrastination in Physical-Sports Activity (PAFD) that would be assessed from a multidimensional perspective (affective, cognitive, and behavioral). This is an instrumental study involving 287 students, 180 from the Faculty of Education and Sport (62.7%) and 107 from Vocational Training (37.3%). both from Vitoria-Gasteiz (74.2% men and 25.8% women, M=23.15 years, SD=3.07). In order to analyze the factorial structure of the questionnaire, an exploratory factor analysis was carried out using the SPSS v.24 statistical package. The data obtained in the present study confirm the multidimensionality of the procrastination in physical-sports activity construct, constituted by the cognitive. affective, and behavioral dimensions. However, problems are detected in the reliability of the questionnaire, especially in the behavioral scale.
