Thermodynamic properties of liquid magnesium-yttrium alloys

摘要
A pseudo-isopiestic method was employed to determine magnesium vapor pressures over liquid magnesium-yttrium alloys, From these, magnesium activities derived and converted to a common temperature of 1173 K using partial enthalpy values from literature. Experimental problems observed in the course of this investigation are discussed.
