Clear cell meningioma is a rare histological phenotype of meningioma. It has an atypical grade II World Health Organization classification due to a high recurrence rate. This report documents the rapid deterioration of visual field and acuity in a pregnant 32-year-old woman and the successful post-operative resolution of symptoms. We review the literature about this rare disease and identify clinical and pathological features unique to this patient. (C) 2009 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
