摘要
This paper reports the anode properties of Sn powder in all-solid-state lithium batteries. Although poor cycling performance is a critical problem for high capacity anodes in the conventional lithium ion batteries with liquid electrolytes, stable charge-discharge cycles have been revealed in all-solid-state lithium batteries; capacity of 600 mAh g(-1) is maintained for over 100 cycles. Furthermore, the composite of Sn and solid electrolyte is spontaneously densified after charge-discharge cycling. Consequently, the intimate contact between Sn and solid electrolyte is maintained for the measurement, which contribute to the stable cycle performance of Sn anode in an all-solid-state cell. These results demonstrate that the use of Sn anode is more likely for the all-solid-state batteries rather than the conventional lithium ion batteries using liquid electrolytes.
