269 female and 32 male Mutillidae, mainly collected by different entomologists during several trips to East Africa in the last years have been examined. The material comprises of 107 species or chromatical forms, 18 are hereby described as new: Dasylabris auriculata (female), Dasylabris astigmata (female), Stenomutilla rotundilata (female), Stenomutilla plurisignata (female), Stenomutilla nigerrima (female), Stenomutila alessandrae (female), Smicromyrme perrisiiopsis (female), Smicromyrme kilifiana (female), Smicromyrme enippeoides (female), Smicromyrme plurifasciata (female), Odontomutilla werneri (male), Mutilla radamae Bischoff f. rubicunda (female), Mutilla diselana S. & R. f. rubriceps (female), Trogaspidia pseudodanuna (male), Trogaspidia gibbosa (male), Trogaspidia rugosipygidialis (female), Mimecomutilla infamium Bischoff f. nigra (female), Lobotilla leucospila (Cameron) f. nigra (female), as well as the so far undescribed female of Trogaspidia danuna (Cameron). It was not possible to identify several females and 2 males, only the genus (14) to which they belong is indicated Mutilla capensis Saussure (1878) is hereby subsequently designated as the type-species of the genus Dasylabroides. The designation has been omitted by Andre, the author of the genus (1901, 1903), as well as by Bischoff (1920).
