Control of molecular dynamics in intense laser fields

摘要
In recent years, due to development of ultra-short-pulse laser technology, resulting laser field as high as 10(16) W/cm(2) can routinely be generated. In such a strong laser field, molecules undergo a variety of nonlinear processes. Many new surprising phenomena have been observed in molecules such as alignment along laser polarization direction, high-harmonic generation, dressed state formation, multiphoton ionization, ultrafast structure deformation, coulomb explosion etc. which will be discussed in this article.
