摘要
Broadband operation of regenerative wavelength conversion of NRZ DPSK signals by means of four-wave mixing in a semiconductor optical amplifier is reported. Significant Q-factor improvement of the converted data is observed at 10 Gb/s in both down-and up-conversion operation over nearly 50 nm conversion range.
