摘要
The theoretical methodological approach "Trail of Life: (Re) Discovering Nature with the Senses" created by the artist and environmental educator Jose Matarezi in 1999 was created with one of the objectives of discussing science through a sensible education, rationalization. The objective of this study is to discuss the relationships that the Trail of Life has with phenomenology, based on the thought of Merleau-Ponty (1974) and what possible contributions that phenomenology establishes with Environmental Education. Thus, radical approaches were identified between these two fields, mainly by rooting the Trail of Life in the perspective of critical, transformative and emancipatory Environmental Education, in the prioritization of the experience lived by the body itself.
