摘要
This paper presents the electromagnetic design of a direct drive 10 MW dual-stator superconducting permanent magnet wind power generator. The design was based on a conventional direct drive 6.4 MW PM generator with copper armature windings. The physical phenomena and operating parameters of the proposed generator when increasing the current in the MgB2 armature windings were analyzed using FEM software. Optimization analyses were also carried out to improve the efficiency of the proposed generator and FEM results showed that both the output power and the efficiency were improved compared with the generator with copper armature windings.
