摘要
A syst em called KP Corpus is proposed to facilitate the testing and comparison of metrical models. The system offers a rational way of comparing metrical structures whose results accord reasonably well with intuiton. For demonstration purposes, the evaluation of the meter-finding program proposed by Temperley and Sleator, part of the Melisma system for music analysis, is discussed.
