摘要
Optimal outcomes in the management of children with Anorectal Malformation (ARM) require careful surgical preparation and detailed understanding of the anatomic principles and operative setup. A clear understanding of operative anatomy and surgical principals guides decision making. Adherence to the principles of ARM repair, as well as the application of operative and imaging adjuncts, will yield the safest and most successful approach to ARM. In this review, we detail the surgical preparation, anatomic principles, and surgical management issues unique to ARM. (C) 2020 Elsevier Inc. All rights reserved.
