摘要
Xenon-135 is the fission production, which can lead to the xenon spatial concentration distribution period oscillation with time in the thermal neutron reactors. The period of xenon oscillation is about 20hr. Xenon oscillation is a three-dimension space-time problem, which is stimulated by the reactivity perturbation, for some of the control rods malfunction or operators' mistakes. And the power spatial oscillation will be triggered In this paper, the coupled code of three-dimension physics program (RMARK) and single-channel thermal-hydraulic program (THEATRE) is used to assess the axial xenon oscillation of a PWR. Meanwhile, a simplified xenon oscillation model is validated by the coupled code, the result indicates the simplified model is reasonable in simulating xenon oscillation.
