摘要：

This article carries out an interpretation in epistemological key about the controversy in the 1960 decade between Jean Paul Sartre and Claude Levi-Strauss. The arquitecture of the Sartrean project around the "pre-eminence" of the "dialectical reason" and the critic carried out by Levi-Strauss, focused in the weaknesses of the "dualism" analitical reason/historical reason, are presented. At last, the debate is located in the context of the problematical relation between human sciences and philosophy.
