摘要：

This overview was designed to (a) help authors avoid most common errors when using APA style, (b) highlight some important changes in compiling the list of references, and (c) get users of the manual (APA, 1994) to start feeling as comfortable with the new edition as they were with the old. It is hoped that professionals in nursing and other disciplines will find the "new, improved" version as user-friendly as the previous one.
