Several studies have shown that botulinum toxin type A is an effective treatment for upper and lower limb spasticity in adults [1]. This paper will review recent data from two trials that have studied using botulinum toxin type B for limb spasticity. Both studies were physician-sponsored Investigational New Drug (IND) projects.
