摘要
In the Laguerre-based bodies of revolution finite-difference time-domain (BOR-FDTD) method, the plane wave excitation takes a major part of the total computation time. This time is mainly consumed in evaluating the expansion coefficient of incident field which involves integral of the weighted Laguerre polynomial with respect to time. In this work, an efficient one-dimensional auxiliary Laguerre-based FDTD algorithm combined with correlation operation is presented to speed up the plane wave excitation. Numerical results indicate that the proposed method is valid and highly efficient.
