摘要
The WO3 catalysts loading effect on furfuryl alcohol oligomerization was investigated at 100 degrees C and ambient pressure. According to the information provided by GC and GC/MS, the conversion of furfuryl alcohol and selectivity to short chain-length oligomer (C9 similar to C15) and heavy oligomer (>C-19) were calculated with varied catalysts loading. It was found that with increasing the WO3 catalysts loading from 0.1g to 1.2g, the conversion of FA gradually increased up to 27.1% while the selectivity to short chain-length oligomer decreased then leveled off after 0.6g catalysts loading. Oligomer molecular information including C=C and C=O were also confirmed by Infrared Spectroscopy. (C) 2016 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
